Day 11 Indonesia

Last day today!!
This morning we went to a turtle Sanitary.  The organisation that runs it buys turtle eggs off Fishermen who find them. They move the nests so they eggs are not damaged or eaten by people. In one neat from one turtle is around 100 eggs but not all of the eggs hatch. It all depends of the temperature to determine whether the egg will turn into a male/ female. In the warmer heat the eggs will turn into female and about 70-80% of the eggs hatch. In the colder temperature the eggs will turn into males and about 60% of the eggs will hatch.

The end of my Indonesian tour has come to an end. I leave Bali at 9pm and arrive ball into Wellington at 2.15pm on Saturday. I have made some great connections with teachers in Indonesia and am looking forward to building relationships with the children at St Johns  school.

I feel blessed to have been given this amazing opportunity and I hope you have enjoyed the jounery alongside me through my blog posts.

I am looking forward to sharing some of my fun stories with the children next week.
